Confluent Cloud Environments¶
You can define multiple environments for Confluent Cloud. Each environment can have its own Confluent Cloud Schema Registry instance.
Tip
You can also manage environments using the ccloud environment command.
Create Environment¶
Follow these instructions to create an environment.
Click the Confluent Cloud settings and choose Environment -> Add environment.
Name your environment. The environment name must start and end with alphanumeric characters, can contain hyphens and underscores, and cannot contain spaces.
You can now create a cluster or try the Confluent Cloud Quick Start.
Update Environment¶
Follow these instructions to update an environment name.
Delete Environment¶
Follow these instructions to delete an account.
Important
When you delete an account, all clusters (e.g. Apache Kafka®, Schema Registry) are deleted from the account.
