# AI-Assisted Troubleshooting for Confluent Cloud Connectors

The AI-Assisted Troubleshooting feature provides auto-generated, easy-to-understand summaries of
connector issues directly in the Confluent Cloud Console. The feature analyzes
connector logs and metadata, helping you quickly understand issues without reviewing raw logs.

You can also optionally generate recommendations with a single click to help fix these issues. These recommendations provide guided next steps to help you resolve common issues faster.

#### IMPORTANT
This feature is available as a Preview feature. A Preview feature is a component of Confluent Cloud that is being
introduced to gain early feedback from users. This feature can be used for
evaluation and
non-production testing purposes or to provide feedback to Confluent.

The warranty, Service Level Agreement (SLA), and Support Services provisions of your agreement with
Confluent do not apply to Preview features. Confluent may discontinue providing Preview releases of the
Preview features at any time in Confluent’s sole discretion.

## Features

The AI-Assisted Troubleshooting for fully managed connectors provides:

- **Auto-generated summaries**: AI automatically generates summaries for selected connector failures.
- **On-demand fix recommendations**: You can click **Generate Recommendations** to view suggested fixes.
Recommendations are generated on demand and are optional.

## Manage access for your organization

AI-assisted summaries are enabled by default for all organizations during Preview.
However, [OrganizationAdmin](../../security/access-control/rbac/predefined-rbac-roles.md#organizationadmin-role) can enable or disable AI-Assisted Troubleshooting for an
organization by following this procedure:

1. In Confluent Cloud Console, open the sidebar menu. Above the current user name, click the organization name.
   - If you belong to only one organization, the organization **Details** page appears.
   - If you belong to multiple organizations, the **Organizations** page appears, displaying a list of the
organizations you belong to. Click the name of the organization you want to turn on or turn off. The
     organization **Details** page appears.
2. On the organization **Details** page, turn on or turn off the **AI-Assisted Troubleshooting** toggle.

## Provide feedback

You can provide feedback on the usefulness of summaries by selecting
the thumbs up (positive) or thumbs down (negative) icons. You may also be prompted to provide optional
text feedback explaining what you liked or disliked.

Confluent may use this feedback to improve the feature before general availability (GA).

## Pricing

AI-Assisted Troubleshooting is free during Preview. Confluent will communicate pricing and tiers before GA.

Storage
: Confluent may store generated outputs to improve performance and quality. These are not used for model
training or shared with third-party vendors.
