# Google Cloud Private Service Connect Overview in Confluent Cloud [Google Cloud Private Service Connect](https://cloud.google.com/vpc/docs/private-service-connect) allows one-way secure connection from your VPC to Confluent Cloud clusters with added protection against data exfiltration. This networking option is popular for its unique combination of security and simplicity of setup for same and cross-region connectivity using [PSC global access](https://cloud.google.com/vpc/docs/about-accessing-vpc-hosted-services-endpoints#global-access).
