Description

Validate that a schema is compatible against a given subject version.

confluent schema-registry schema compatibility validate <schema-path> [flags]

Flags

    --subject string                    REQUIRED: Subject of the schema.
    --type string                       REQUIRED: Specify the schema type as "avro", "json", or "protobuf".
    --version string                    Version of the schema. Can be a specific version or "latest".
    --references string                 The path to the references file.
    --context string                    CLI context name.
    --environment string                Environment ID.
    --schema-registry-endpoint string   The URL of the Schema Registry cluster.
-o, --output string                     Specify the output format as "human", "json", or "yaml". (default "human")

    --client-key-path string              File or directory path to client key to authenticate the Schema Registry client.
    --schema-registry-endpoint string     The URL of the Schema Registry cluster.
-o, --output string                       Specify the output format as "human", "json", or "yaml". (default "human")

Global Flags

-h, --help            Show help for this command.
    --unsafe-trace    Equivalent to -vvvv, but also log HTTP requests and responses which might contain plaintext secrets.
-v, --verbose count   Increase verbosity (-v for warn, -vv for info, -vvv for debug, -vvvv for trace).
