confluent switchover pair failover

Description

Trigger a failover or switchback on a switchover pair. This redirects live traffic between the pair’s members.

confluent switchover pair failover <id> [flags]

Flags

    --active-member string   Name of the member to promote to active status. Required for PLANNED and UNPLANNED failover types. Omit for RESTORE.
    --failover-type string   Type of failover operation to perform. Allowed values are PLANNED, UNPLANNED, RESTORE. (default "PLANNED")
    --force                  Skip the confirmation prompt.
    --environment string     Environment ID.
    --context string         CLI context name.
-o, --output string          Specify the output format as "human", "json", or "yaml". (default "human")

Global Flags

-h, --help            Show help for this command.
    --unsafe-trace    Equivalent to -vvvv, but also log HTTP requests and responses which might contain plaintext secrets.
-v, --verbose count   Increase verbosity (-v for warn, -vv for info, -vvv for debug, and -vvvv for trace).

Examples

Fail switchover pair “sw-123456” over to its “east” member.

confluent switchover pair failover sw-123456 --active-member east
