Description

Create a network.

confluent network create [name] [flags]

Flags

    --cloud string               REQUIRED: Specify the cloud provider as "aws", "azure", or "gcp".
    --region string              REQUIRED: Cloud region ID for this network.
    --connection-types strings   REQUIRED: A comma-separated list of network access types: "privatelink", "peering", or "transitgateway".
    --cidr string                A /16 IPv4 CIDR block. Required for networks of connection type "peering" and "transitgateway".
    --zones strings              A comma-separated list of availability zones for this network.
    --zone-info strings          A comma-separated list of "zone=cidr" pairs or CIDR blocks. Each CIDR must be a /27 IPv4 CIDR block.
    --dns-resolution string      Specify the DNS resolution as "private" or "chased-private".
    --reserved-cidr string       A /24 IPv4 CIDR block. Can be used for AWS networks of connection type "peering" and "transitgateway".
    --context string             CLI context name.
    --environment string         Environment ID.
-o, --output string              Specify the output format as "human", "json", or "yaml". (default "human")

Global Flags

-h, --help            Show help for this command.
    --unsafe-trace    Equivalent to -vvvv, but also log HTTP requests and responses which might contain plaintext secrets.
-v, --verbose count   Increase verbosity (-v for warn, -vv for info, -vvv for debug, -vvvv for trace).

Create a Confluent network in AWS with connection type “transitgateway” by specifying zones and CIDR.

confluent network create --cloud aws --region us-west-2 --connection-types transitgateway --zones usw2-az1,usw2-az2,usw2-az4 --cidr 10.1.0.0/16

Create a named Confluent network in AWS with connection type “transitgateway” by specifying zones and CIDR.

confluent network create aws-tgw-network --cloud aws --region us-west-2 --connection-types transitgateway --zones usw2-az1,usw2-az2,usw2-az4 --cidr 10.1.0.0/16

Create a named Confluent network in AWS with connection types “transitgateway” and “peering” by specifying zones and CIDR.

confluent network create aws-tgw-peering-network --cloud aws --region us-west-2 --connection-types transitgateway,peering --zones usw2-az1,usw2-az2,usw2-az4 --cidr 10.1.0.0/16

Create a named Confluent network in AWS with connection type “peering” by specifying zone info.

confluent network create aws-peering-network --cloud aws --region us-west-2 --connection-types peering --zone-info usw2-az1=10.10.0.0/27,usw2-az3=10.10.0.32/27,usw2-az4=10.10.0.64/27

Create a named Confluent network in GCP with connection type “peering” by specifying zones and CIDR.

Create a named Confluent network in Azure with connection type “privatelink” by specifying DNS resolution.
