# confluent usm kafka-cluster register ## Description Register a USM Kafka cluster. ```none confluent usm kafka-cluster register [flags] ``` ## Flags ```none --name string REQUIRED: A human-readable name for the Confluent Platform Kafka cluster. --cloud string REQUIRED: Specify the cloud provider as "aws", "azure", or "gcp". --region string REQUIRED: The home region of the Confluent Platform Kafka cluster where the metadata should be stored. --environment string Environment ID. --context string CLI context name. -o, --output string Specify the output format as "human", "json", or "yaml".
