# Support Policy for Confluent Control Center

This topic provides the support policy and Confluent Platform compatibility matrix for Control Center. For

**Considerations**

* Starting with Control Center 2.0.0, the standard support policy extends for
  two years from the initial (.0) release date.
* Platinum tier support is unavailable for Control Center version 2.0.0 and
  later.
* Starting with Control Center 2.6.0, Confluent Enterprise license customers receive up to
  two quarterly patch updates for each minor version release during the
  first six months after the initial release.
  * The Control Center 2.6.0 release receives up to two quarterly patches
    (2.6.1 and 2.6.2) within six months, depending on the initial release
    date.
  * Patches do not extend beyond these two updates, such as a 2.6.3 or
    2.6.4 patch.
  * To obtain newer fixes or features after the six-month window, upgrade
    to the next minor or major Control Center release.
  * Under the previous patch policy, Control Center versions 2.3.x, 2.4.x,
    and 2.5.x receive only one quarterly patch. The updated policy of
    providing up to two quarterly patch updates applies starting with
    Control Center 2.6.0.
