Module serialization 

Serialization interfaces and implementations (org.apache.kafka.common.serialization).

Provides the Serializer and Deserializer traits and common implementations for strings and byte arrays.

Structs

ByteArrayDeserializer

Deserializes byte arrays by returning the bytes unchanged.

ByteArraySerializer

Serializes byte arrays by passing them through unchanged.

BytesDeserializer

Deserializes byte arrays into refcounted [bytes::Bytes].

StringDeserializer

String encoding defaults to UTF8 and can be customized by setting the property key.deserializer.encoding, value.deserializer.encoding or deserializer.encoding. The first two take precedence over the last.

StringSerializer

String encoding defaults to UTF8 and can be customized by setting the property key.serializer.encoding, value.serializer.encoding or serializer.encoding. The first two take precedence over the last.
