# Deploy and Manage Confluent Gateway with Confluent for Kubernetes

Confluent Private Cloud Gateway and Confluent Cloud Gateway are cloud-native Apache Kafka® proxy solutions that
simplify client connectivity, secure access, and streamline cluster management
across distributed Kafka environments. Confluent Private Cloud Gateway and Confluent Cloud Gateway provide a
stable, protocol-aware entry point for Kafka clients. By abstracting complex
broker lists and resolving inconsistent security configurations, they eliminate
the operational overhead required to manage direct client-to-cluster
connections.

The following guides provide instructions on using
Confluent for Kubernetes (CFK) to configure, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Confluent Private Cloud Gateway
and Confluent Cloud Gateway:

* [Configure and Deploy Confluent Gateway using Confluent for Kubernetes](co-gateway-deploy.md#co-gateway-deploy)
* [Configure Security for Confluent Gateway using Confluent for Kubernetes](co-gateway-security.md#co-gateway-security)
* [Troubleshoot Confluent Gateway CFK Deployments](co-gateway-troubleshoot.md#co-gateway-troubleshoot)

For configuration and management tasks common to both Docker and CFK
deployments of Confluent Gateway, see the core product documentation:
