Troubleshooting

Ansible Playbooks for Confluent Platform may fail to run for a variety of reasons. Complete the following steps if the playbook fails:

1. Append -vvvv to the playbook run command and redirect the output to a file.

   ansible-playbook -vvvv -i hosts.yml all.yml >failure.txt
   

2. Open a support ticket with Confluent Support and provide the following:

   • Playbook name you are running.
   • The step where the playbook failed.
   • All changes you made to the playbook.
   • The output file you generated in the above step, as a compressed text file.
