confluent network dns forwarder create¶
Flags¶
--gateway string REQUIRED: Gateway ID.
--domains strings REQUIRED: A comma-separated list of domains for the DNS forwarder to use.
--dns-server-ips strings A comma-separated list of IP addresses for the DNS server.
--domain-mapping string Path to a domain mapping file containing domain mappings. Each mapping should have the format of domain=zone,project. Mappings are separated by new-line characters.
--context string CLI context name.
--environment string Environment ID.
-o, --output string Specify the output format as "human", "json", or "yaml". (default "human")
Global Flags¶
-h, --help Show help for this command.
--unsafe-trace Equivalent to -vvvv, but also log HTTP requests and responses which might contain plaintext secrets.
-v, --verbose count Increase verbosity (-v for warn, -vv for info, -vvv for debug, -vvvv for trace).
Examples¶
Create a DNS forwarder.
confluent network dns forwarder create --dns-server-ips 10.200.0.0,10.201.0.0 --gateway gw-123456 --domains abc.com,def.com
Create a named DNS forwarder.
confluent network dns forwarder create my-dns-forwarder --dns-server-ips 10.200.0.0,10.201.0.0 --gateway gw-123456 --domains abc.com,def.com
Create a named DNS forwarder using domain-mapping. This option reads the list of “domainName=zoneName,projectName” mapping from a local file.
network dns forwarder create my-dns-forwarder-file --gateway gateway-1 --domains example.com --domain-mapping filename
