Secure Components in Confluent Platform

Confluent Platform components by default are not configured to support security features, including encryption, authentication, and authorization.

To secure Confluent Platform components, you must configure them to support security features.

The following Confluent Platform components support security features:

• Confluent Control Center
• Schema Registry
• Kafka Connect
• KRaft Security
• ksqlDB RBAC
• REST Proxy
• ZooKeeper
