Custom Connectors for Confluent Cloud

Confluent allows you to upload and use your custom connector in Confluent Cloud.

What are custom connectors?

Custom connectors are connectors created based on Kafka Connect plugins that are uploaded to Confluent Cloud by users. This includes connector plugins that are built from scratch, modified open-source connector plugins, or third-party connector plugins. Note that, except for specific Confluent Partners, Confluent does not provide enterprise support for connector plugins uploaded to Confluent Cloud by users. Confluent only provides enterprise support for the Kafka Connect infrastructure with this feature.
