Resource Overview in Confluent Cloud

Confluent resources such as Schema Registry, connectors, and Cluster Linking connect over public and private networking on Confluent Cloud. Connectivity support varies by resource and networking type:

• Schema Registry private networking:

  • Enable Private Networking on Confluent Cloud for Schema Registry

  • Use Confluent Cloud Schema Registry to Connect to a Public Endpoint in a Private Networking Environment

• Public egress IP address for connectors and Cluster Linking

• Cluster Linking using AWS PrivateLink

• Follower Fetching using AWS VPC Peering
