Google Cloud Private Service Connect Overview in Confluent Cloud

Google Cloud Private Service Connect allows one-way secure connection from your VPC to Confluent Cloud clusters with added protection against data exfiltration. This networking option is popular for its unique combination of security and simplicity of setup.

In Confluent Cloud, for Dedicated Kafka clusters, you can set up an inbound connectivity from Google Cloud VPC to a Confluent Cloud cluster or an outbound connectivity from Confluent Cloud to a Google Cloud VPC using the following networking solutions:

• Google Cloud inbound Private Service Connect
• Google Cloud outbound Private Service Connect

When you use Private Service Connect, your cluster will not have public endpoints, and you can only access your cluster from Private Service Connect endpoints in accounts you have registered with Confluent Cloud.
